We look for members to participate in committees to assist with the work of the organization and share the load.  Some of our committees may be:

• Program
  Find speakers and activities for chapter meetings.

• Hospitality
  Arrange for snacks at monthly meetings.

• Legislative 
  Share with our chapter any relevant legislative issues. 

• Communications/Media
  Maintain the social media presence of the chapter.

• Community Services / Volunteer
  Identify volunteer opportunities for members and report annual hours of service provided for the annual AARP chapter report.

• Calling committee
  Contact members prior to monthly meetings and special events.

• Social Committee
  Plan and manage the June picnic and December holiday luncheon, as well as other planned events by the committee for the enjoyment of the members or fundraisers.

• Nominating committee                                                                 Recruit nominees and assist  with fall voting and official tallies
