We look for members to participate in committees to assist with the organization's work and share the load.  Some of our committees may be:

• Program
  Find speakers and activities for chapter meetings.

• Hospitality
  Arrange for snacks at monthly meetings.

• Legislative 
  Please share any relevant legislative issues with our chapter. 

• Communications/Media
  Maintain the social media presence of the chapter.

• Community Services / Volunteer
  Identify volunteer opportunities for members and report annual hours of service provided for the annual AARP chapter report.

• Calling committee
  Contact members before monthly meetings and special events.

• Social Committee
  Plans and executes events for the enjoyment of the membership.

• Nominating committee                                                                 Recruit nominees and assist with fall voting and official tallies.
